What is Bouwflow?

Bouwflow is the modern ERP software for the Belgian construction industry. We help contractors and construction firms digitalise their whole operation, from the first customer contact to the quote and the post-calculation. Simpler, smarter, and more profitable.

What will you do?

As AI Automation Engineer at Bouwflow, you're the one who works out what's possible with AI and then puts it to work inside the company. You keep up with the newest technologies, you come up with solutions, you improve processes and you build entirely new applications from the ground up.

Your work runs on two tracks.

  • Solving: you hear from your colleagues what they're struggling with and where they lose time. You come up with a solution, you build it, and you improve the process around it.
  • Building what isn't there yet: we like to take things AI-first, including completely from scratch. You set up new parts of the company with agents instead of manual work.

It doesn't stop at one department. You build agents across marketing, support and development. You ship it yourself and you take ownership of it.

Who are you?

You follow AI closely and you get your energy from what you can solve with it. A process that's still manual today and runs by itself two weeks from now: that's what you do it for.

What you bring:

  • About three years of experience as a developer
  • Programming, in whichever language you're good at
  • Working with LLMs, agents and APIs
  • Git

A must:

  • In-depth knowledge of AI (skills, commands, models, automations, MCP ...)
  • Laravel (PHP)

Nice to have, but not a must:

  • Next.js (TypeScript)
  • Python
  • Knowledge of or a feel for the construction sector

Languages:

  • Dutch (our working language)
  • English

  • You build with AI, but you deliver high-quality solutions and you take ownership of them.
  • You're creative at solving problems. You quickly see how something could work differently and better.
  • You go and find things out instead of waiting for an assignment.
  • You enjoy a startup environment with short lines and plenty of autonomy.
